I've been using SASA for a few months now tracking my dsl usage. Yesterday I see my max conc connection was 2 - does this mean someone else is using my account. My router password/dsl password is very strong so I doubt someone has grabbed it. My b/w used is also normal.

Should I be worried? Could it be a glitch on telkoms stats? I'm using SAIX.

I think sometimes your one session doesn't show as disconnected immediately so then it looks like a concurrent connection when the next session is started, just watch your account and see if anything strange starts showing up.

I think that just means you allowed 2 concurrent connections on the account.

Concurrent connections

I have just downloaded SASA and had a look at stats for February, March and April.

I had 2 concurrent connections on a few occasions in February and March. This occurred at the daily change-over from one day's cycle to the next when a short (±5 minute) overlap occurs. The IP address used remains the same, so there is no indication that theft is occurring.

I use my Netgear DG834G to logon on to TelkomInternet with a strong password. Thus there should only be one connection ay any time, regardless of how many PCs connect to the Internet. Therefore, I think it is fair to say that the session overlap is due to an SAIX recording system logic error.

Is this conclusion correct?

Mze - I have a similair setup. A firewall connecting to my router (running in bridge mode), with multiple machines sitting on the internal network. It must be overlapping connection times as I only have one router connecting out with one account.
