Maybe a simple question?

Hello all mybroadband.co.za's clever people,

I am hoping someone will know how to do this. I thought it would be simple but I cannot seem to connect my Nokia N80 to my computer and use it to surf the internet using a wireless connection.

Ok, let me clarify....

My friend (next door) has a wireless connection which he allows me to use. My Nokia N80 connects to it and I am able to surf the internet with no problems. :D

I have no internet access on my computer and would like to use the phone as a "modem" using the wireless but can only do it using 3G or GPRS and not the wirless connection on the phone. :(

Is it possible to do this and if so please would you be so kind to explain it to me.

Thank you all for a really great forum site. It has helped me often while searching for various problems (even without registering)...

Thank you...

I don't get what you tryin' na ask. But to use your phone as a modem connect it via bluetooth or a cable and surf via the phone's network. To use your phone as a WiFi modem download Joikuspot and purchase a usb wireless connector and connect to the phone's Wifi, you can also connect to your neighbor via your pc, if he's in range.
Sorry I don't quite grasp your problem.

Bit of confusion there, You want to connect your PC to your neighbours wireless? Stick a wifi card in the PC, forget the phone.
