Maybe a simple question?

Hello all mybroadband.co.za's clever people,

I am hoping someone will know how to do this. I thought it would be simple but I cannot seem to connect my Nokia N80 to my computer and use it to surf the internet using a wireless connection.

Ok, let me clarify....

My friend (next door) has a wireless connection which he allows me to use. My Nokia N80 connects to it and I am able to surf the internet with no problems.

I have no internet access on my computer and would like to use the phone as a "modem" using the wireless but can only do it using 3G or GPRS and not the wirless connection on the phone.

Is it possible to do this and if so please would you be so kind to explain it to me.

I don't get what you tryin' na ask. But to use your phone as a modem connect it via bluetooth or a cable and surf via the phone's network. To use your phone as a WiFi modem download Joikuspot and purchase a usb wireless connector and connect to the phone's Wifi, you can also connect to your neighbor via your pc, if he's in range.
Sorry I don't quite grasp your problem.

Bit of confusion there, You want to connect your PC to your neighbours wireless? Stick a wifi card in the PC, forget the phone.
