My Sack! Taxi's ignoring robots ... intersections are gridlocked ... streets around Sauer / Jeppe / Simmonds / Bree are a parking lot :wtf:

Must be something in the air that suddenly drives these malakas off the deep-end periodically

Don't bother trying to get home for at least another 2 hours if you are in the area.... bunfight of note

[edit .... oh and of course not bacon bit in sight]

Yup, pretty normal when there is a small clap of thunder ;)

Move to Cape Town, not nearly as bad.

Oh really?

If someone farts in Muizenberg around 1 pm traffic is fscked up trying to get out of town at 5 pm. At least two terrible days the past two weeks.

That's normal dude!
Not normally as bad as yesterday afternoon ... peak traffic in the CBD is never fun, but there are normally at least a couple of seconds when it is safe to proceed through a green traffic light.

It's like there is a fsking bug that gets into taxi drivers' brains every now and then and makes them batschidt-crazy... yesterday was one of those days

As soon as there is a problem at any of the major intersections or onramps to highways etc, gridlock will occur

Come to Durban today...

It was fun..

They decided to close a main freeway from 3am to 4pm.. for a stupid bloody cycle race....

Oh, and to say that it was a surprise to the people who live in the city is an understatement.... Almost nobody knew that the freeway would be closed, and there were no signs (even on the stretch of road to be closed) announcing the closure.
