Mazda6 - Not available in SA

So, I bought this a month ago here in the US. 2018 model with 30K on the clock. It's too bad that SA started phasing out sedans because this car is more than capable and comes with specs higher than an SUV with a similar-sized engine.

Fuel economy is good for it's class. I get 37 miles to a gallon with long-distance/highway driving and about 26 mpg with city driving.

Mazda USA sells the full range here, including the 7-seater CX-9, because people actually buy the car that they want and not what the dealer decides they should have.

The last 6 that I saw in SA, was around 2013 - a guy at church had just bought one.

We're in for a model change next year so people are buying these on the cheap, but it's still value for money. I got this one at $3000 below market value.

People here are driving around Mercs, BMs and Audis like it's nothing. I'd sooner have the same specs or more but with more value for money.

Also, I haven’t seen much of it on the used car market - usually just ex rentals - meaning that people are holding in to them because they know what they've got.

I wasn't even remotely interested in a pick-up or a supercharged HEMI; they're fun to drive but they don't make economic sense.
