Hi Guys,
I have the Motorola Defy MB525 and have problems with it freezing up and rebooting,
With the stock rom, the phone works fine for a while then will just randomly reboot, I tried leaving the battery out, factory resets all the basics but no reults.
I loaded CM7 on the phone and instead of rebooting the phone would work for a while then just freeze up, have to remove the battery to restart the phone.
So I have now loaded the GB kernel and CM10 (i have the red lense), the phone now no longer freezes or reboots, but after some time I am no longer able to use data or make calls, the signal icon has the little H above it and even if I set it to 3G it just stays there so seems to be stuck. But the rest of the phone works fine, camera etc just phone calls and data. If I reboot the phone then all is good again.
My contract is coming to an end and it was suggested to me that it could be the SIM or Flash card, so should I dump the phone and get a new one or is this something that you have experienced as I would like to keep the phone and go onto prepaid but not if the phone is toast.
appreciate any help.
