Thats quite funny because a "PR" is an actual procedure, "Per rectum" is when they stick their finger up your a$$. So I wonder if the "c" is the [sic] part of the sentence?

Could be that a CPR is a special type of PR they give to ****s.

Is a difibrillator not for when your heart stops?

No. It is usually for when the heart rhythm is unsteady (not Sinus) and needs to be shocked into it.

Yeah I don't quite understand the hatred shown towards him in this thread. The circumstances sound ridiculous. Flu-like symptoms do not result in CPR...:erm:

yes they can. Flu can result in heart failure.

The sudden part is strange though. Perhaps he started feeling ill dosed himself on meds and carried on for a few days and then hit the wall so too speak.
