There have been a lot of posts being deleted with no explanation or purpose other than to protect their sponsors ?
Have we as the community now lost the right to voice our opinion concerning products from companies that provide sponsoring for this site ?

Because people tend to use bad language when talking about them.
I don't blame them.

There's plenty of threads about how kuk iburst is.

+1

Also, there is a banned member (ala kei) who keeps registering here under different alias`s to bad mouth Iburst (he see`s this as activism). Ive got dozens of "iburst sucks" threads that I have created and have not being touched.

is there any other way to describe i-burst's service other than to use bad language?

Even this thread is sponsored by iBurst :wtf:

lol...I'm in a quiet phase right now, hoping I won't jinx it by saying that. My last run-in with iburst was late last year, once over the new modem I wanted switched to another account, the other being in December when I ran out of bandwidth in the middle of doing my banking, and neither myself nor the MWEB technicians and salespeople could get any response from iBurst. The booster option via MWEB had gone on the blink, so the only way MWEB customers could get boosters was to ask the MWEB helpdesk people to phone/email iBurst to get them to add it. Needless to say it was only about two days later that the booster appeared. Even the MWEB technician phoned me back to apologise that night, saying he had held on for 35 minutes without reply, and that even his emails were being ignored. In general I've been happy with MWEB's support of the service, but come the end of my contract, unless I can see a dramatic drop in complaints regarding accounts, etc., there's no way I'll migrate my account info across to iBurst.

I honestly highly doubt that RPM would allow such things to happen. It goes against everything MyBB stands for!!!
But if it is happening its would be extremely sad to hear! It would single handedly destroy the repution of MyBB and its founders. Hence I highly doubt they would stoop to that level.

Mods usually edit the posts for bad language.

Twice now i have had my post deleted that had no swearing in .
My exact words were a reply to rooigev@@r youtube link ( http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...-Watercooler&p=3679920&viewfull=1#post3679920 ) that said :
¨ wow i can actually watch youtube now without any buffering pauses ...You have to love vodacom HSDPA
No more iStutter ! ¨

Site admins and mods can see deleted posts so they can verify thats exactly what i said .

Why was that deleted ?

Ah, must be that time of year again. At least we know what time of year the tin-foil-hatters hold their annual convention...

Nope I read that post and it is no longer there, so definately removed . No tinfoil needed

If so then the following would apply ........................

As the main "page/thread/whatever" sponser, IWorst can only allow 12 replies to a specific post. The said post can also only be viewed 33 times. After that you will need hardware to read the post - just as their service, so is their sponsorship.

Remember this is South Africa where Customer Care is NON existent.

Just my 2c worth

I dont think it would be RPM that did the deletes and I wonder if he knows who is the guilty party is .

Who is the moderator of this sub forum though? If iBurst can moderate this subforum, they can delete posts.

Even if it is bad language, its a poor show to just delete entire threads or posts.
