Mbeki rejects Eskom ruling

:D

Actually, it looked better than rofl, see roffel, but i guess it could be as DS stated, or maybe even rolling on the floor falling everywhere laughing.

PS.... heck, i dunno :D

Any form of institutionalised discrimination is fundamentally wrong from the principal point of view, makes no difference whether its called apartheid or
empowerment.Practically few will argue that substantial efforts to allow
the colored and blacks were and are needed to provide opportunities for a
decent living, what is worrying is the absence of skills which more often than not are undermining the chance for a better live for all.To achieve this is itself
already an enormous challenge.A society can only make considerable steps forwards when conditions to do so are implemented by the lawmakers.
Taiwan and South Korea have well understood how to do so, and ofcourse they have had their hickups, but they don't make the same misstake twice.
The Eskom tragedy was no coincidence but bound to happen sooner or later.

In general what South Afrika has achieved the last 12 years is quite remarkable.10 year constitution would have been a great moment for self reflection and evaluation. No one will blaim for misstakes, people make misstakes, perhaps not even enough misstakes are made when i see how afraid people are to make them which serious hinders individual development.
Make misstake and learn from them, all scandals sofar are first denied, did not
take place, try to cover up etcetc. The ANC should have got a serious beating up in the last elections, thats how democracy works, the hate campagne of the DA was the most stupid thing i have ever seen.
Its time to start discussing the political landscape for the future, the ANC will
sooner or later fall apart as it holds factions which had nothing other than a mutual goal to end apartheid.A political landscape with different parties will
give people a choice and will help to stop pointing fingers and end up in color
related arguments. To get 40 meter advantage on the 100 meter because of my color to have a chance to win as well is humiliating.Loose 10 times but get the acces and opportunities to quality factilities and training and win the
11th time is much more fun, and for those who are beaten a happy moment as well, for the caucasian population something to be aware of constantly.

This is from a colorblind foreigners perspective.

Fight with eachother is much more fun than against eachother

The ANC must have felt a lot of pain in Cape Town due to this.

They already lost the municipal election, and then the colourdes were slapped in the face being not black enough again.

I can only guess the change in attitude towards the ANC.

Actually, the ID turning their backs to the ANC is most probably related to this. They could not afford to be seen as anti-coloured.

Tafelsig By Election

Lets see what happens at the Tafelsig By Election in June.
One of the only two ID Ward Councillor's of the 106 Cape Town Wards, resigned post the March Elections of 2006.
I think that vote will show the way the coloured people feel in Cape Town.
They have had enough time to absorb all the "ganning aans" in the last few weeks.
De Lille may be in for a shocker?

Ya, I think there will be consequences from her actions. It just remains to see how big these consequences are

De Lille is Done. People will vote anc or da - make up their own minds instead.
