McDonalds - Cinnamon Melts

Does no one's SO actually bake these days? All this DIY from pre-made baked goodies sounds terribly lame... much like the pita bread pizza DJ pitched the other day... :P

where are all the purists gone?!

They are very similar to Cinnabons; really delicious I love them as a dessert after my cheeseburgers.

My wife makes delicious cinnamon iced buns from the dough she buys at Pick and Pay! :D

Had to check my calendar, thought we warped back to 1890 for a moment there.

Now thats what I'm talking about! I can understand buying the dough, still allows you tons of room to innovate and bake the craziest stuff!

SO doesn't refer to a specific sex. I just assumed that those posting here are too lazy to actually bake regardless of their sex. I then assumed that their choice of SO would make up for this lack of the baking gene in their DNA make up :)

1) Go to Spar or Pick and Pay... wherever you get your Chelsea Buns from.
(The Bertrams Spar and the Darras Pick n Pay have HUGE Chelsea buns)
2) Get out your sandwich maker or flat griller and turn it on.
3) Slice the Chelsea bun in half like a sandwich.
4) Take a knife and slap some real butter on both sides of each slice.
5) Now slap those babies into the griller and toast em how you like 'em (I prefer them soft, not burned).
6) Take them out and enjoy... if you want you can put some more icing over them.

So you just whip out your griller in the middle of spar?
 
I can clone a cinnabon. No big deal. The clone recipe was on the web some years ago and the clever people who came across it downloaded it before it was removed from Google I ate the clone before I ate the real thing and honestly I couldn't tell the difference aside from temperature as Cinnabon don't let theirs sit all day. If anyone wants a link to the best clone pm me. It's not hard work . I served it funny enough one of the first things I ever baked at someone;s birthday party and people went wild. I never made them again because they are the devils tools and I value my waistline (well I did once)
