Hi,
I've been working as an IT Administrator and IT Manager for the last 8 or so years. I'm interested in getting into programming/development. Though programming wise I've only messed around with html and a little bit of ASP.
So looking around the web it seems that MCSD is 'n good cert to have, which you get after passing:
480 - Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3
486 - Developing ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Applications
488 - Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions
489 - Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Advanced Solution
But now I have a few questions:
1) Which language are you learning from these? I thought C# would be in there, or would I have to learn that by taking a MTA Software Development Fundamentals/Windows Development Fundamentals (or anything else) before attempting MCSD? Or what?
2) What type of applications can be built with the knowledge from doing the MCSD? Only workflow/accounting type of things? The Microsoft site says after the MCSD you can get work as a "software developer or web developer", so sky's the limit, or not quite?
