Me again ... with some battery Comms questions

Ok, so I have 2 X CFE 2560s Pro batteries, that will be connected in serial in the trolley.
When looking at the instructions, they mention a couple of times the RS485 Comms cables that need to be connected:

6. When the batteries are used in series or in parallel, the DIP switches must be set
correctly according to the user manual. Confirm all the power cables and communication
cables are connected correctly, then the load can be connected. Finally, according to the
order from the last slave battery to the master battery, turn on the battery in turn, please be
sure to start the master battery at last (the power cables should be as thick as possible and
has good conductivity, the contact surface of the connection is large, and there is no
looseness, etc.)

And then subsequently:
Remarks: SRAYSTECH LFP Battery can be used in series or parallel, The batteries need to be fully charged before
connecting in series; when using the RAYSTECH LFP Battery, you need to connect the communication cable (485)
and adjust the DIP switch (DIP)
[I know it says Raystech, just rebranded CFEs)

How do you connect the 485 cable. Is it circular between the two batteries, or is it only one cable from OUT to IN, based on the master battery?

I googled, but couldn't find any answer

From Last to First (Master): Out -> In

If its anything like my Sako's

Each battery has 2 x RS485 (Cat 5) ports and the inverter has 1

So it goes from battery to battery to inverter?

Master/Slave order does not matter as its a single bus.

How do you have master and slave with a series connection?

positive pole of the load is used as the master battery, other batteries are slaves, and the
negative pole of the last slave is connected to the negative pole of the load.

Thanks, is that what's is all that writing on the side of the battery saying?

I would just put cable from master to inverter as the other battery is part of the 24V pack, so I don't see the point of a cable to the slave.
