Sbu Ndebele decides not to accept gift, then the MEC steps down, wow, wow indeed. I think the ANC under Zuma are off to a good start.![]()
Zuma said he wouldn't tolerate this kind of thing. We see both car scandals resolved well, so let's give credit where it's due.Does the anc under Zumatello also want breakfast and taxi fare?
And I ask that because Zumatello told Ndebele that he could keep the car. Maybe there are some good people about in spite of the criminals in government.
And you're forgetting that Zoomatella advised the one crony to keep the car.Zuma said he wouldn't tolerate this kind of thing. We see both car scandals resolved well, so let's give credit where it's due.

Eyewitness News has learnt Gauteng Agriculture MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko was stepping down following a furore involving a stolen luxury state vehicle.
The MEC paid R920 000 out of taxpayers coffers for a luxury Mercedes Benz.
The car was stolen by hijackers outside her home only hours after being collected from a dealership on the East Rand on Friday.
Concerns were raised about the car’s price tag, why the vehicle was not insured and why the MEC’s husband had been driving the state-owned car on the day it was stolen.
Her department insisted the deal was above board but Eyewitness News learnt Nkomo-Ralehoko was stepping down just weeks after being appointed as an MEC because the paperwork around the deal had not been finalised and she effectively wasted close on one million rand of taxpayers’ money.

What the hell? If I wanted to live in a country where politicians step down after fscking up, I'd live in England.
If we don't act honorably and acknowledge that they did the right thing, then we are just the same. Why should he be getting any credit?
He gets no credit for the return of the gift merc.
And if he had anything to do with the MEC then she didn't step down.
