Lets see ... 50 000 for a RDP house excluding the cost of getting the building material to the site.
So, that's 19.2 houses that the poor MEC gets to drive around in.

I wonder how much insurance on that vehicle is per month?
My guess would be all of Alex' monthly electricity bill.

About R7000 a month according to http://www.int.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=13&art_id=vn20090605061203952C441917, or about the same as my mortgage, car payments *and* insurance all together.
