Question of the Day: If you were buying a TV today, which brand would you choose?

The price with a tuner is R7500. Its not built-in ... they said they don't get those anymore, its a USB tuner ... but it plugs into a USB port in the TV.
Also, if there is a warranty issue ... the unit needs to be taken in to Mecer ... there is one in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Ok... Mecer weren't to helpful with info when I phoned them, will the Tuner work on my laptop without the TV? I might get it just for that,cause the Panel itself is going into a Media Center PC. Can you also confirm that the Panel has all the external inputs as listed on their site? Or if they could give you the 'updated' list.
Would you be able to give me an invoice made out to a company? As well as a copy of the original invoice for warranty purposes? Not worried about markup, as someone else is paying
How do we go about the transaction? Cash? Or internet transfer to you, preferable on collection (cellular). How/When would I be able to get the panel?

The woman wasn't too sure if the tuner would work on a laptop, she said she thinks so.
But if you going to get one to plug into your laptop, go for a good one that supports on-board hardware encoding for PVR.
I can give you an invoice for a company, as well as a copy.
The best method for payment is Internet Transfer ... but I need payment before collection, because I don't have credit with Mecer. Once payment is confirmed, I can go collect it and it will be ready for collection.

Ok... if anyone has one of these, I got one, but find it ghosts a lot when watching TV.... I'm running at the full resolution 13?? x 7?? @ 60Hz using the VGA cable from a PC... any one else find this? Would it be better to use a composite cable instead?
