Uhm Its an offence under PFMA to do that.
Everything needs to be done with at least the three quote system.
Emergency orders are the exception, but then theyd have to be explained at the next finance meeting.

That is not what I said was rubbish. What I said was rubbish, was that someone takes a punctured wheel to Tiger Wheel and Tyre to get it repaired out of your pocket. If they don't claim the repair fees back (~R50), nothing will come of it. If they do claim the repair fees back, they will in all likelihood just get refunded from the department from petty cash of which the 3 quote system is not needed.

So like I said, he is talking horse ****. Nobody will get fired. It is not even an option.

We used Amex credit card instead of actual cash. Not government department
