Hey all

So its finally time to get rid of my old school keyboard (Logitech something or other), and Ive decided to go mechanical.

Ive never had one before, so all advice is welcome. From what Ive read here: http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/mechanical-keyboard-guide Ill be going for a MX Brown switch.
Other than that, it MUST be USB, and MUST have anti-ghosting. (Flying in BF3 can get annoying when it blocks some of my keystrokes). Finally, it needs to be within R1200.

Please could I have some suggestions on what to go for? What name brands are good, which models to go for?

Just for reference: http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=8609&zenid=vq8opqkng9c2fhcm4l3s95f207 is the kind of thing im looking for, but its so DULL! Id love something that looks as good as it feels :)

Thanks in advance!

I have that exact one with the browns and I am SUPER happy.

A few considerations though..
It is quite compact (I prefer compact keyboards, don't like keyboards a meter wide with 500 macro keys)
If you use the number pad a lot maybe look for one with a dedicated one as the TK shares its numpad with the arrow keys but you just need to push numlock to switch so its really no big deal for me, then again I don't use the numpad too often anymore.
There is also no dedicated media keys so to pause a song or lower the volume you first need to press the function key.

The brown switches are great and my typing has definitely improved since getting it. It has the mechanical KB noise but if you are gentle and release each keypress as soon as you feel the "bump" you can actually type in just about silence.

Build quality is very good.

Yes it is somewhat dull but again I think compact and minimalistic is what CM was going for with this design.

Another good option is the Corsair K70? Afaik it also comes with Mx Browns.
