Can almost 100% guarantee it will be cheaper if you buy through Rebeltech, Techimport, or Wootware. And you'll be spoiled for choice.

ok but at least easy to return the keyboard faulty but mainly to test how a mechanical keyboard feels. Now reading up on the corsair forums I don't think that I would want to get a K70. People complain about LED lights just dying and also some people complain aboutkeys not registering or registering as 2 keys. So I can rule that out for now.

What about the logitech g710. Seeing as how good my logitech g15 is the g710 couldn't be that bad

I can see my keys fine with the glow of my monitor, but I touch type anyway. The G710+ doesn't have the best reputation for a mech, but it's still decent, and you probably won't have problems with it ( mech keyboards with cherry switches are good quality in general). Just take note that the G710+ has rubber o-rings under every key which makes the board more silent, but also gives it a slightly mushier feel. You can remove it if you want to.

Any other keyboard I can consider. I think the coolermaster is the only ones really.

If it's (the logitech) not a proper mech keyboard, stay as far away as possible.

You won't be disappointed with a QuickFire.

I'm a bit confused. Recommend me one with backlight. I have a choice between these so far

quickfire ultimate

Quickfire rapid (no backlight so that is something that makes me worried cause I like led lighting on keyboard)

Quickfire TK Brown (a shop near me can get hold of one)

Razer black window ultimate 2014 edition with Razers own green switches but it's expensive. Something like R1999

I'd go with a TK if you really want backlighting, or a rapid if you don't ( I would say a rapids build quality is better than the TK's, but both are pretty solid). Cooler Master make good mech keyboards for the price.

You're going a bit too much into depth here worrying about these things. If you spend time on any hardware forum you'll see some complaints. It's just bound to happen.

Stay away from non-mech kb's.

ok but my only concern is that at night when you have the lights off will i be able to see my keys? OMW I hate being so picky about this...lol I don't even know if a small keyboard is the right choice..lol

in a way i don't like the looks of the cooler master full sized keyboards like the xt
 
Ok let's forget the logitech g710+ now. i'm not getting that anyway.

I'm also tired of looking at reviews. They always make a keyboard look good or make as if it's an awesome keyboard. I checked reviews on the logitech, razer, coolermaster, corsair and gigabyte and they all say it's a good keyboard but What makes the k70 so good if it has all of those issues. That's the one thing that makes me mad.

Marketing gimmicks and so on. How can all reviews be so good about that K70 when so many people have issues with them? this also makes me worried about the Cooler master ones but i have more trust on them seeing as people over at overclock.net don't even recommend the K70. they say that cooler master quick fire rapid is the best for a ten keyless keyboard and for a full sized keyboard the cooler master trigger, quickfire pro and quickfire XT is the best.

other ones they suggest you do not really get here in SA

That's a whole line of 5 star reviews. I'm really not sure where you're seeing the issues.

I'll tell you my main issue with the TK - the directional keys are merged with the numpad and you have to switch between them. I had a keyboard with that before and it got annoying very quickly. Your hands don't know where to sit in a game. Then the Rapid doesn't even have a numpad. Again, that stuff matters. I use the numpad quite a lot, not for games but in spreadsheets and stuff it's very necessary. To me that leaves the QuickFire Pro or Trigger. Either of those is fine, but rather don't get a gimped keyboard as you seem like a person who gets irritated with small things easily.

I'm just going about what people on forums and so on is saying . on overclock.net and on the corsair forums people complain about the issues I described. You got itright. I'm very picky about thing like this. I'm not getting the K70 cause so many people complain about the LED failing issue. so I need to know of something else. you have a valid pint on the smaller keyboards. So I only have these choices.

CM storm Trigger

Quickfire xt

Quickfire Pro

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2014

I had the same thoughts when I bought.

The annoying thing about the Pro is that only a few keys are backlit so there really isn't a perfect CM option.

I got used to the keyboard layout of the TK really quickly but I can see some people getting frustrated... Perhaps I would to if it was my work keyboard. It is always a lol when other people try and use my keyboard and get confused as hell.
 
Ill try and make an update for you tonight on how well I can see my keys with nothing but the screen on. If you can live without backlighting I would highly recommend the XT. If you can't I would recommend the TK. I spend a lot of time on mech keyboard forums. But above all, choose the right switch :P.
 
The corsair would be the perfect option if it didn't had the LED issue so many speak about. Go goole and you will see what I mean. If corsair fixed that I would like it but i don't see me returning the keyboard every few months
