I recently bought a Mede8er and forgot the power cable at a friend's house (far far away), it is just the figure 8 part, not the transform part as well. The Figure 8 was a 2 point plug, I have another one, but this figure 8 cable is a 3 point plug.

Will that make a difference? :erm:

Thanks that is what I've thought, the problem was just my concern regarding the Amp's ect.

Looks like all Figure 8 cables is 2.5A?

It wouldn't really matter the Mede8er is supposed to only use 10W.

I would make sure that plug has an earth, or else you may very well hear a big pop one day soon ;)

it'll be fine. no worries. go for it. I buy extra cords from spar all the time.

Hi there guys, I made the same mistake. I forgot my whole ac/dc adaptor at my in-laws.... only gonna get it back in about 3 weeks time. Can I buy a any standard one from an audio visual shop? What exactly should I ask for.

I tried the one that comes with Sound Blaster PC speakers and the jack is too big. Any advice would be appreciated. I was thinking of going to Electrovision in Cresta as it is down the road from me.

That i might not try, you need to use an adaptor with same voltage etc, unless you have one with exactly the same it could cause a problem.

Same voltage, polarity, plug and last but not least amperage (can be more but not less). Why not just buy a mede8er one from the mede8er shop or wootware?
