Because the sales person he is referring to know her products and also all staff members in every branch had training on the AC Ryan products. we have 4 different AC Ryan media Plyer products and the unit he purchased was the entry level unit

The OP should have done his own research before he purchased the unit and would have consulted the MyBB members for advice , we unfortunately do not have a buyer’s remorse policy and Mudslinging not going to help him either

We have been more than fair to offer him a full refund but decided to now retract that offer and apply our standard 25% handling fee and less that wireless dongle that is not in the box as it was never booked in

Typical ass response, I think the main problem with you and the rest of Esquire DBN is you more focused on the next lap dance next door at Teazers than how you sell products.

I will never deal with Esquire again, worst company ever to deal with.

This has got to be the most unprofessional response I think I have to date encountered from an official representative of a company on a public forum.

I would expect this level of spiteful childish response from a schoolkid fighting over marbles.

Does the Esquire rep not have a higher up we can send this to?

i thought he was pretty high up but that post doesnt have the same ring to it as before. maybe a normal staff member is posting on mybb now.

AFAIK the higher up is posting as the Esquire rep, which is quite disturbing in itself. I don't think the rep has changed, he still uses poor spelling and grammar at times.

Not quite…
I did query in-store and was told that it would be able to stream hd movies.

But that is not the issue. This thread was a quick bitch and moan about bad service. Then it got deleted. So now it is a big issue.

The clerk probably assumed that the OP was streaming 720P which is "technically" HD, In my mind nothing under 1920x1080 is HD, and the OP tried to play a 1080P movie and it stuttered.

Not sure when MyBB started deleting threads and the request of the OP. Lock sure, especially when things are going south. But delete? Anyway, it's back, so yay.

Firstly, EPIC Fail. Thank you for making sure I will never ever purchase products from Esquire.

Now referring to the bold content, should we assume that before we buy, we have to know everything about the product and cannot expect one of your sales people to advise accordingly? If yes, what's the point of having them? If no, why make the above statement?

The request of the OP is almost always adhered to.
If there is enough cause for the mods to delete the thread, it will be done.

On a personal note.

Before I buy any tech hardware of anything over R1500 I do my research on various websites, especially user reviews.
If I am not able to get my questions answered I come here and ask questions of the respected members.
If I am still not satisfied I wont buy the relevant item and buy something that I am 100% sure will satisfy my needs.

It claims the Video rate is 13 Mb/s translating to 1.625MB/s

Im sure WiFi can handle that data rate.
