Mediabrowser for Media Center.

Who uses this product, i started a while ago and i am finding it awesome.

Just interested if there are many SA people using it. What are your thoughts on it if you do use it?
 
I've started setting it up for my new media centre..

Its incredibly awesome....
 
How does this differ from Vista/Win7 built-in media centre? there's a lot of these types of programs floating around these days.
 
Well it is a plugin for media center so to speak. If you name your seasons like weeds/season 1/weeds s01e01.avi - it will download backdrops, banners and folder jpgs from thetvdb.org also get a synopsis - it is really awesome. For movies it gets all the information from themoviedb. There are some issues with it, but it is OpenS (for now) and compared to others that require ms sql server installed it is really little at 3mbs. I was so impressed with it that i contributed a music plugin for MediaBrowser. That part of it has not been released.

Google it and check some screen shots.

similar to mediabrowser, but I think the app is a bit more mature and has way more features, having said that it pretty much constantly under development.

Its basically a replacement for windows media centre and the linux apps like mythtv.
 
MediaBrowser works as a plugin for media center, not a replacement. But it is definitely not that mature, only two beta releases have gone out. Some guys in aus that developed it.
 
It works great, I am using it in conjunction with MetaBrowser (for pulling details and tagging)
 
Yeah it looks cool once you have all the metadata, if you using it with metabrowser, disable internet providers on mediabrowser because there are one of two bugs when you disconnected from the internet, it clears the information.
