Medical Aids 3 months ?

Hi guys,

Ok so basically the SO needs to get her wisdom teeth taken out urgently she isnt currently on medical aid if she had to join today she would have to wait 3 months before she would be able to have this done is that correct ?

Carefull with this some medical aids does not cover pre exisitng conditions.

Possibly, has she been on Medical aid before?
IF this is her first time, then depending on the medical aid there is usually a 3 month waiting period.
I know some of them have the clause depending on your age though?

Best to call them and check, but i reckon you are not going to come right with them paying

Ask the doctor how much it is to get taken out if you pay cash. Their rates are usually much higher than their "cash in hand" rates. I saved myself a bundle like that before.

Could be expensive if a dental surgeon is involved and it is done under general anaesthetic.
