Medupi start delayed yet again

And Koeberg's one reactor is going offline today until May.

Fabulous Monday news!

Man if this was a commercial company it would have been over long ago (for the company)... 5 year delay! With these two on schedule as planned we would not have these power issues...

And showerhead says we shouldn't blame the government when $&@% like this happens.

These are never coming online... and I doubt Koebergs unit 1 will get back online, its gonna be extended maintenance after extended maintenance, technical fault after technical fault, they weren't able to sync it last week, trying again after refuelling etc at end of May isn't going to change that.

<shakes head> :) ... its clear that Eskom management dunno wtf goin on... of course it would also help if the anc would stop meddling... they are determined to see how they can F it up more.

Sure no problem Eskom.......... just delay it by another 6 weeks............ not like we are in any rush at all...............

Personally I dont see this project finishing for at least another 10 years........ the incompetence and arrogance of these lot are unbelievable.

If it is any consolation at least we are assured that the workers are getting their hot meal everyday.

lol. Maybe people will finally revolt against these people instead of just posting on an internet forum.

I remember someone here mentioned Medupi was rushed. It was supposed to take another 5 years to get it up and running.

Their incompetance know no boundaries.

ANC - you suck as always.

Can someone make an app for Eskom that'll warn you as soon as load shedding is going to be implemented in your area? Having to check that website of theirs is tedious :( The said app can maybe check according to your area which you input maybe? Or is there such an app already?

There is. Called load shed, written by a forumite.

The ANC voters are too thick to revolt. Bejasus they would have to get off their fat lazy azzes and do something.

Sadly so... The mass lazy voters, only get up to go cause kukkas, when given free KFC and taxi fare.

I don't think it's ever coming on line, it will be mothballed before its of any use.
