Hi guys,
I currently have both routers mentioned in the thread title. I got the Mega 105WR about a week back after a technician apparently told my mom that the "Router is at fault, that is why your line keeps dropping", so I went to go swap it - even though I knew it was the line and not the router - they replaced my 100WR with the 105WR. All worked fine up until yesterday. I switched it on, and went to go grab a cup of coffee. Come back and the router had not synched with line, the DSL light wasn't even flashing it was just completely dead.
So, I unplugged the router and put in my Billion 7401VGP, it synched perfectly, first time no hassles. Problem though is the Billion is locked by Mweb and it doesn't have an option for bridge mode. Is there anyway to get around it?
Also how is it possible for a brand new router to die with in a week of me getting it? I am at varsity from 8-5 each day, and thus I the router is on very little during the week.
Any help is appreciated.
