Are there any good custom firmwares for this router??Are there unbricking tools for this router? What cool mods have you made for this router? (Hardware or software) Post your mods and info here

Guys I have a second router of this kind and its bricked but I could not install usb driver via cd to unbrick it cause its bricked so I opened it to look inside and I found that it uses a laptop wifi card to send out wifi and that the card can support up 2 wifi aerails cause there is a second aerial port on the wifi card.So you can just get another plug and aerial and drill a hole on the oppisite side to make a daul aerial version!

try holding the reset button depressed for ten seconds. that will force to factory defaults which should unbrick any device if it's not cooked

I already knew about that. It is bricked cause that wont fix it.I looked inside and a capasitator is swelled so that might be a broken one

Poeple also post your router expliots here. This router runs mini_httpd/1.19 19dec2003 that is vurnable to the / expliot heres how is a example: type in your browser http://10.0.0.2/cgi-bin/ and it will say Illegal File access now just add a / to the url (like this:http://10.0.0.2/cgi-bin//) and it will allow you to browse that directory.This expliot does not work on the root folder so you wont be able to see all folders.The only other directory I know about is http://10.0.0.2/html/ but that is just the images the router meneu uses. So post your directories here.It would be cool if someone posts the link to the password file.

Why post expliots???

So Telkom (or whatever company makes it) will improve the security on this router and bring out better new firmwares and for independent people to make open source or customized firmware for this

Can I just get some clarification here, the 2nd antenna port is next to the DSL/phone line port? I have an extra antenna, what else would I need to get- you mentioned getting another plug- which plug would be necessary.

What I mean is inside is a wificard that has place for 2 plugs.There is only 1 plug so you can only use 1 aerial.But if you have a second plug and aerial plus a drill you can add a second aerial.(Im not use if the second one is enabled with the software)I can post pictures on how to dissemble and add the second plug and aerial.

This is pointless, because the firmware would have to be reconfigured to use both antenna A and B (main and aux). Additionally, there's no real benefit from having two antennas anyway most of the time

If you read what I said you will know that I said that im not sure if it is enabled in the software. That is why I want people to make cutom firmwares that allow this.
