Melon Mobile unlimited offer

750 minutes and 5gb for R200 is a very good deal. People trying to take advantage of that is why we can't have nice things.

If you want a business line get a business account

There are similar options out there. FnB mobile comes to mind

Any idea if their esim works on smart watches. Samsung galaxy watch 6 LTE

Anyone else think this is unfair?

More than a few!

And the result was ... swift justice!

Aah! Thanks for the update.

Glad I as not alone!

Devious company. I was about to complain to the ASA and port to MTN superflex

Guys be careful / prudent before porting to melon.
They have highly deceptive marketing tactics
Uncapped voice and sms but the t and c's stress FUP.

The small prints says subject to promo..indicating that it's only for a specific period

And the dead give away is they are piggy backing on mtns network that has a clear FUP in place for the so called free mins deal.

Personally I think it's a promo to attract subscribers then once you in their system
The deals start changing.

Luckily nobody cares what you think.

I have been using the R199 option at Melon Mobile for the last few months. Zero issues.

When my minutes was finished, they promptly reload it again in less than 2min.

Their whatsapp support is quick and on the ball.

So if you don't abuse the system, there should not be any issues. They have reloaded my minutes 3 times last month.

I did the opposite. Cancelled MTN superflex and took a Melon e-sim. It is basicly impossible to get to a human at MTN regarding support. So I just cancelled the kak thing.

The whole point of this thread is that they changed their terms and you couldn’t reload any more minutes for free like you describe

I have just checked, they have reloaded my minutes on 11 April last month.

So not sure what all the fuss is about.

I did notice that they have change the wording on a few places but I haven't had any problems when I have asked them to reload the minutes.
