You should get your GP to check properly. There's more at play than thyroid here.
What are your vitamin b levels like? Iron levels? Other electrolytes etc?

Do you use alcohol or other drugs regularly?

I do not consume alcohol or drugs.

Are you staring at screens till just before bed?
Drinking caffeine late into the afternoon? - I used to, not anymore.
Do you read books - like sit and read for an hour or two without checking your phone every 5 minutes?
Tried meditating?

Edit: Smoke loads of cannabis when you were younger / drink a lot?

Its between Alzheimers or Dementia. It can come at an early stage. Best to check it out. You may also be sent for an MRI. It may be something pressing some part of the brain. Thats also pretty possible. Best to see a doctor and check for that.

Alzheimer and Dementia can come at any age. However a growth malignant in the brain or tumour can also cause this to happen.

I went straight to a neurologist. He kept me there asking questions for about an hour and sent me for a brain scan. He reckoned it was a specific meds I'm on. I went to see my Psychiatrist and she told me the same thing. This sounds serious. I would suggest going to a neurologist.
