I never really paid attention to memory, pretty much thinking memory is memory.

But shock horror.

I was reading the NAG magazine memory comparison and the name brand memory would give you in some cases 2/3 more performs than lowly Legend / Hynix memory

I is converted.

well i sick with rectron ram very good low latency ram

corsair value select is the best botton of the range ram you can get i think

Blegh, they must be running very memory intensive synthetic benchmarks. In a non overclocking machine you wont SEE a difference (there might be a 5%difference at most), all better RAM can do is run tighter timings which only helps so much, but I think ShockG will know best.

Bah.
If yo're a gamer, the more the better no matter the timmings.
Even I would take generic 2GB of V-Data DDR400 ram over 1GB of Geil DDR700 PC5600 RAM.

But if you're goin' to overclock. Ram can be the difference between a 80K AM3 score and a 100K AM3 Score :)

Upto your pockets really. But I wouldn't go over board with high tech, ultra 50000 Super ram, just get alot of whatever it is you're getting. :)
