Slightly OT but my old boy used to be Merc verskrik - he wont go near one nowadays due to the tacky image and low quality fit and finish, we also have some friends who have had endless mechanical hassles (one sl55 and one ml series.)

Bottom line: QC at Mercedes Benz is nigh on extinct, the halcyon days are over for that mark my friends.
Okay maybe you have a point but i believe that only applies to their C class which is their entry level after all.... and we can go on about social climate but its business at the end of the day
