Actually in genuine experience (Not sure how many of you have had real GF's :P) woman tend to be more impressed with a "stylish" car over a performance car. N yes I want to enjoy my car - but If girls like it, well I won't complain.

Granted I could never keep up with the ex - she had a mercedes e350 convertible

This depends on type of woman you are attempting to attract. The quality you get when you dress well, smell good n drive a nice car, is vastly different to what you get with axe, an Opel Kadett and wearing Jean pants.

Don't sell 'em short dude, not all beautiful women care about what you drive, just the gold diggers. If you're interested in them, then by all means go ahead :) I personally buy cars that I enjoy driving, and to hell with what anyone thinks about it.

Routine services between R2k and R4k. Major service (oil, plugs, fitlers etc) around R6k - R8k. And like another poster mentioned as long as nothing breaks you are fine. If major things break you could always go the eBay route and fix things yourself. Getting a decent warranty also helps.

As for the comments of it being a very "gay" car...well...there is a reason why the car was dubbed a "hairdresser special". :whistle:
