Hi, I have a Afrihost setup fibre 200mbps, my dlink router has got gigabit ports, I have linked a cheap ultralink mesh network to it however I only get 93Mbps on wifi, how do I increase that

You want an AC or AD / AX compatible wireless system. Note that you won't get any benefit unless the devices you are connecting with also support the newer tech.

Have a look at the Huawei 1Gbps PLC Turbo Mesh system.

What is a bit pricey?
I wasn't offering a solution to your Cat6 network.
5Ghz AC channel Wifi router? What specific mesh system do you have? You may have to replace it if it's not capable. It's not just a case of opening the windows and letting fresher air in.
Does your current system allow 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz wifi? If so, use the 5Ghz SSID.

This is with a Tenda AC10 on a 200/200 line:

Through a wall (but same even if standing next to the router) and probably limited by my phone, it's a 2x2 (2 stream) configuration, router is set to 20/40/80 band, from what I can see my phone is using the 20/40 band. 867Mbps phone peak, since dual band that's 480Mbps max each direction on 80 Hz, router is set to mix, can see phone using 20/40 mix, so ~240Mbps is the phone cap. Getting 160Mbps with 8 other devices connected, 5 2.4Ghz and 3 5GHz, seems good to me (remember, bandwidth is split among all connected devices, doesn't matter if they're using it or not, that's why WiFi 6 is great, but that will take a while to roll out).

AC10 is R850: https://scoop.co.za/tenda-dual-band-ac-5dbi-4-port-gigabit-router-no-usb-ac10.html
If your house isn't that large, you can save a buck and go with the AC8: https://scoop.co.za/tenda-dual-band-ac-6dbi-4-port-gigabit-router-ac8.html

Both of them have beamforming, for shorter range you won't see much difference.

I don't have much experience with any mesh set-ups, but they're generally more expensive, recently some people have been recommending these: https://scoop.co.za/tenda-nova-lite-dual-band-2-port-ethernet-mesh-system-2pk-nova-mw3.html

At 35Mbps, definitely.
Are you sure it was on the 5GHz network?

Btw, in your WiFi settings, change it to ac only, if you have any n class devices, let them rather be stuck on the 2.4GHz network if your area isn't crowded. Most modern devices should support ac, but if a single n class device connects to 5GHz, everyone gets downgraded to 802.11n.

This is on my TP Link Archer D5,
So for 5GHz set to:

For 2.4GHz:

Have it so it broadcasts 802.11n only. Channel depends on what your neighbors have set-up, try to avoid anything above 11 since some devices don't support it.

Just remember the ultralink mw3 ac1200 mesh system only support 100Mpbs on it's ethernet port. So even if your Fibre router is 200Mbps, it's going to be limited to max 93 (7Mbps overhead).

If would recommend looking at the TP-Link M4's at R2599 (https://www.takealot.com/tp-link-decom4-2-pack-ac1200-whole-home-wifi-system/PLID54517085) They have gigabit LAN ports and will easily accomodate your 200 Mbps line speed.
