They are the Beauty and the Beast corp. You figure this out as you play the game.

Whats really great about MGS4 is that you can choose to play the game with stealth or all out gun blazing attack as opposed to previous versions that were definitely more stealth. In fact there are numerous ratings in the form of type of animal depending how you played the game. I ended up with 'hawk'.

This is definitely the more cerebral gamers 'game' with a plot and theme tied into the game.
 
Anyone manage to get the "Big Boss" emblem?

You have to beat the game on "extreme mode" with:
1) no kills(only stun your enemies)
2) no alerts
3) no special items used (i.e. stealth camo or unlimited ammo bandana)
4) no healing items
5) no continues

And in a time of 5 hours or less.

So im almost done playing through on extreme and was just thinking wtf?
Ive used 2 continues so far but saving at the right points and you can get past this.
But there are certain parts of the game where its impossible to not use a ration/regain/noodles.

So far im sitting in a time of 8hr30min with halfway Act 4 and Act 5 to go. I guess I can cut this time down quite a bit as Ive been using non-lethal ammo on the boss beast forms to get the solar gun at the end.

Anyone else attempt this?
 
I bought this game as a present for my friends birthday WOOOOOOOOOT!!!! he's gonna flip!! i havent played this yet but i gotta say something. Its amazing how fanboism is...MGS4 is an awesome game, but not one xbox owner on this site had the balls to say atleast one good thing about this game. I mean come on, give credit where its due. BUT given an opportunity to slam and the xbois and packing sledge hammers.....soooo freakin immature. seriously.
 
Got the game last week...

Now on Act 4....all I can say is AWESOME :D

I'm really impressed with this game, especially the movies. They may be long, but wow! :)

Afaik - you are the only mullet to mention xbox in this thread? :confused:

anyway, played it over the weekend. Credit due no doubt, awesome game always been a fan of msg and this oone definately doesnt dissapoint.

Oi, numbnuts, how the **** do you expect someone to comment on something they can't play!? I would say that it's a sign of civility, not like every PS3 twit criticizing Halo and BioShock without ever even playing them.

And you wonder why "Xbots" think Sony fanboys are idiots...

look, a great game is a great game, thats all im sayin; the general opinion of MGS is that its genre setting stuff. Personally I've enjoyed playing both bioshock and halo (save the headaches) and they are excellent games IMO. ur noobish language bolstering is enuf to prove my point anyways.

Cred to the original poster, i didnt mean to turn ur tread into another pointless penis size comp.

Act 4 is definitely one for fans of the series...

Equip your camera (pick this up with the MK2 during mission briefing) when in the room where you previously fought the ninja from MGS1. ;)

Try this also... Call Rose and shake your SixAxis controller around and keep your eye on her chest. ;)

Hoi! I've yet to try this! Check out gamefaqs, they have a number of other oddities that have been found in the game.

Yeah try these:

1) When fighting one of the beauties wait until the screen goes white and then equip your camera and she will start posing for you.

2) Call Rose on the codec and then start shaking the SixAxis controller whilst keeping your eye on her chest.

3) In Act 1 and 3 you can climb up to where the statues are and press triangle. Snake will pose as a statue.

4) In South America inside the house on the second floor get onto the bed and find a poster of Akina on the ceiling. Aim in first person and look at the poster and watch Snake psyche shoot up.

5) Play Sailor on your iPod as it restores lost health faster.

6) When Snake drops his smoke to look up Naomi skirt press L1 even though you not prompted to do so. ;)

7) Enter Drebin number (14893) in Act4 instead of the security code. Score yourself some big Drebin points.

To the contrary your comments were nothing but to incite a response, so I'm happy to respond when idiots go wanting. Perhaps you enjoy blowing hot air up the rear end of games you've never played, perhaps you hope one day to make a friend that way, who knows.

What I can tell you is that like the rest of the world, most 360 owners don't give a hoot about MGS4. There are distinct genre taste differences between PS and Xbox fans with MGS4, DMC4 and GTA falling strongly into the former camp, Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden and Gears of War in the later.

It might get you all hot and bothered, but staring at digital breasts is not my idea of killer gameplay. I'm married, I've seen enough of the real things...

Man, ur a real piece of work.

Firstly, whether I was inciting a response is ur opinion; theres nothing obvious or factual about it. What is a fact though is that ur the one throwing boderline vulgarities and outright insults; making you look more like a 12yr old touting a students companion in one hand and a xbox controller in the other as opposed to a mature gamer whos married either to a real woman or a man with tits.

Its obvious the old adage "He who knows not and knows not he knows not..." applies to you (check ur students companion for the definition of adage)

Complementing a good game is a true sign of civilty and shows that you are a gamer who appreciates games and not a console hugger. I dont know what any of it has to do with making friends (cos we are talking games here) but if it does, ur clearly a very lonely guy; but hey, atleast u've got ur wife..erm..partner :D

about not playing it..dude, come on... you've slammed the ps3 plenty without actually owning one, and therein lies my point. Grats to great games. MSG4 is excellent by many accounts and deserves credit.

Lastly, as its obvious that between the both of us I'm the only one with facial hair; I'll be the mature one and not respond to anymore of ur garbage. Perhaps that may one day give u a sense of victory, who knows.
