Good day all

I would just like to know if anyone knows anything about MetroFiber's connection specifications etc... I'm currently on Rain 5G but from about mid August 2020 my connection went from average 200+mbps to +-80mbps and Rain support just doesnt care. Keep getting the generic reply of move around the router, reset the router or go check the optimizer on the my rain website (which doesn't exist). So Metrofiber is the only fiber ISP in my area and their 200mbps package isn't the cheapest to say the least.
So my question is does anyone know what my contention ratio will be and what ping and speeds will I be looking at with that package? I've inquired on their support page but they do not seem to care for new customers.
 
Metrofibre are an Open Access fibre provider and ISP. So you should be able to connect on an ISP on their network. Maybe just check out which other ISPs are on MFN and sign up through them. Sadly can’t help you just yet.
 
I am with Gigago (MFN open access ISP) on MFN fibre with a 100M/b/s line, generally I get full speed up and down both local and overseas at any time of day or night. 1599210729532.png.

Metrofiber, you activity in Jeffreysbay, is it an open network, or closed you laying?
are you only doing infrastructure, or also offering option of ISP services... see your guys primarily walking around with the VCSA crew.
