Hi,
i've been battling with Metrofibre FTTB.
its borderline unusable and making operating my business and my tenants business impossible. we are for the most part surviving off hotspotted phones.
Since mid April we have had constant internet and VOIP drops for roughly 5 minutes. its then stable for 20 minutes or so and then it drops again.
a lot of back and forth with "Support" constantly blaming our internal network.

Finally i disconnected everything in our network, and plugged in a single computer directly into the router.
still the issue persists.
They have tried migrating us to a different circuit.
They picked up a VLAN stopped moving traffic and a new VLAN and WAN IP was allocated.
A new Router has been installed.
Still according to the Technical department the connection is OK.
and again blaming our internal network - yes even though a single computer is attached directly to their router.
Now they are saying that what we are experiencing is a totally new issue that they never faced before.
but the connection is showing as stable on their side.
What makes it more bizarre is after all of this instead of a stable connection followed by a total loss of internet like we had before
we now have a totally unstable internet connection.
and you guessed it - their technical team keep telling me everything looks good their side.
again i had to prove to them by disconnecting everything and wiring a computer directly to their router in order to prove i was in fact facing an issue. (yes this last test was done over WIFI, but its the same on the wired computer)

Am i missing something or has Metrofibre taken a monumental turn for the worse?
i've threatened to cancel and guess what, they are now saying i'd be liable to pay cancellation clause payments.
i give up
