Okay okay I know you guys probably heard this a million times before but seriously
my xbox = RROD)
About 2 weeks ago I sent them my claim form and the day after that they phoned me with my auhto number. "Okay sweet" I thought. Now, on the claim form it states "Within 5 days that you recieved your autho number you should recieve your new Xbox, subject to stock availability. So I waited 5 days. Nothing. 9 days. Nothing. Now 2 weeks later(today) I phoned them to hear wtf is going on. Nooo they said, "we are still busy with the deliveries of JANUARY... You have got to be kidding me. I mean on the form it clearly states 5 days (and they have stock, I asked them that today too and they have plenty).
It's now March and they are still busy with the deliveries of January???
- so at this rate (2 months for 1 months delivery) another TWO MONTHS for my xbox?? And thats not even the worst part. If stock runs out, they estimate that it would take another 3 months for stock to arrive. So lets say the stock runs out in the february orders, I'm gonna have wait over FIVE MONTHS for a new xbox!
Now people would say yeah take your xbox to a repairsperson, well I have my proof of purchase, so I want a new Xbox without having to pay anything. What do you guys think of this? What should I do?
