Mi Tv Box S Pairing Issue

Howzit Guys

Have a bit of issue, with my 2nd Gen Mi Tv Box S remote.

The remote has been working fine since I got the box. However, last night I could not navigate or use the remote at all. So using my phone, I went to settings, and noticed that the Remote RC had disconnected.

But searching for accessories, or trying to put the remote into pairing mode, has become a struggle..the remote I have, is the one with the below buttons

Xiaomi Tv+ Back and Home

4 Hot Keys
Netflix Prime Video
YouTube Apps

Any idea of how to get this into pairing mode, or the correct buttons to hold to get it into pairing mode?

On mine it is the circle and Menu buttons together.



Also, check the batteries.

Batteries are fully charged. I'm trying all sorts of combinations to get it into pairing mode

I use an app Called Android TV Remote by SensusTech LLC as a backup on my phone. Works through Wi-Fi

Might want to reset the box to factory defaults as a last resort.

I like this app. It works for me. I can connect to any of the 2 Mibox' in my home from my phone.
