It is with great sadness that we share with you that MickeyD (Lawrence Muller) has passed away.

He was a core part of the MyBroadband community, and everyone who met him agreed that he was an awesome person.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

This is so sad, he truly was an Awesome person.

What the hell. This place isn't the same without Laurence and hasn't been since he stopped posting as frequently.

He also helped me countless times with stuff like getting a lost fibre installation order back on the system and updates regarding service provider stuff. Always such a great guy.

I agree....but you also have to take the family into consideration. This is going to be a very hard time for Mac and the rest of his family and kids.....and many families are very private. They might not like the idea of a bunch of strangers attending the funeral. What the family needs and wants or does not want is now all that matters.

Indeed. There are a few mybb members in PE though ... and you might actually have mybb peeps in Joburg or other areas that would be willing to fly down to attend ... but for me a funaral is a very personal and private thing for close family and friends .... but people differ on this. That is just me personally.
