Micro Inverters vs String Inverters

Micro Inverters vs String Inverters

So the normal inverters in common use are string inverters.

Micro inverters are small inverters attached to the back of each solar panel.

Many pros and cons for each type.

I want to do a solar installation, but am tempted by the idea of these micro inverters.

Any ideas / comments / experiences ?

Sounds interesting but i think it may be a usa thing

You have to do at least 10 x 500w panels to get to the 5000w

Bad sun day your output is curtailed

And add the loadshedding at night what now?
Battery behind each panel?

Sure if you just want to save electricity and no worries for backup or you know your load will be less than even a bad weather day will deliver for business only sunlight hrs active
