Micro lenders

I am thinking of starting a micro lending business.

Nothing fancy.

Short term loans (R100 - R2000 per loan)

Is anyone aware of the rules and regulations regarding?

I have done some research online, and come up with quite a bit, but before i make the leap, i am just trying to see if i have missed anything.

I want to do this properly i.e Register with NCR and all the regulatory boards etc - dont want to "Loan Shark"

Want to open an office with call centres etc.

So would appreciate any relevant advice etc.

You can give OutSurance a call. Seeing as you'll probably need some business insurance, they'll be able to give you some advice.
