My micro UPS under guarantee, rated up to 240V, developed a fault. Eskom pushes up to 250V into our part of the network. Over (and under) voltage voltage regulators only switches off at 265V. Puzzling is that my neighbour's identical unit has been running with no problem for nearly 2 years. I will appreciate feeback and advice please.

Sorry, I did return it and was credited to the full amount, but I need a micro UPS, but don't want to repeat the cycle.
Get a voltage/surge protector with a delay?

Does it remain at 250v or is it just at that for a short while?

It stays at that voltage for some time and is surge protected. Does one find adjustable plug in voltage regulators?

Hi i have never seen a adjustable one in those surge protectors type plug normally they are from 260-270v for high and from 180v-190 for the low side.

You do get plug in voltage stabilizers/regulators for example > https://www.communica.co.za/products/voltage-stab-1000va?variant=17184841138249.

Best will be to speak to sparky maybe fit something to your D.B perhaps to protect the whole house.

Curious what micro ups did you have?
