I recently removed the pre-installed version of Vista Home Basic from my MSI VR602 laptop and replaced it with Windows 7 Home Premium. After downloading drivers, etc. everything is working fine except the built-in microphone. Troubleshooting tests show that the microphone is OK and although a plug in mike works fine, the built in one does not. I have tried different default settings without success. Please help!
