Got my last couple of jobs via LinkedIn, way more useful than FB. If the Premium subscription wasn't so expensive, I would have signed up.

It's a very valuable tool when researching decision makers at a customer, their history of employment etc. Then relationships they have with your competitors make sense. That's what I use it for anyway
