Microsoft developing seven-inch Surface tablet: report

As long as the res is 1366 x 768 or greater, cause that is kinda like the minimum for ModernUI.

Well that is unless they fix the screen size issues.

I hate those tiles. I don't care what sizes of screens are filled with them ... it is just a eff-up idea of an OS UI. As I said, MS can call their app market Tile Warehouse now. MS should actually do away with the term screen size and call it pavement size.

Tiles aren't that bad. You get used to os quickly. Looking forward to the Surface launch...

Oh that's why nobody's buying the Surface, because they forgot to make a 7' version and everyone wants 7' full keyboard Windows machines don't they.

Obviously that's also why Apple released the ipad mini. And Google the Nexus 7. Because Nobody was buying their tablets.

rabid apple fan logic... never ceases to dismay.

What the hell are you talking about man? Did you totally miss my point or what?

Microsoft's problem with the Surface is NOT to do with the screen size. It's not selling, and releasing a 7' version is not going to fix that.

Launch? It's been in the USA for nearly six months.. Why do we have to wait so long? It will be a blow out like the bb playbook!

They are a bit late to the game... I am not sure if they are going to manage to actually sell these that easily...
