Microsoft discount offer on OVL

Sorry if this is old news, I only found out about it yesterday....

Microsoft is offering a discount of between 10% and 25% on various Open/Open Value license products ending 15 June and 30 June, depending on the product (Vista, Office etc.).

This is an opportunity for people who have been putting off the purchase of new licenses to get legal at a reduced cost. Its also an opportunity for any resellers on the forum to approach their clients with a value proposition to upgrade.

We had an offer at work, called something like home use benefit, and I managed to get Office 2007 Enterprise edition for R166,54 inclusive of courier costs from Germany!!! Arrived last week...

Yes, that is one hundred and sixty six rand!
 
Yeah, that's cause your company forked out the other 5 grand for the OVL CAL. I'm sure we've had this discussion before :)
 
Yeah, when you have 30-odd thousand licences they can afford to give us plebs some freebies!!
