Not exactly - it depends how you have set it up. While we are reaching some agreement, your original post was difficult to take seriously given that you did not seem to know what you were talking about.

I don't understand why there has to be a debate about this?! The answer is: yes, his network is safe. Shields Up!! has already confirmed that. The reason why I mentioned port 80 was because that was the only port that was detected to be open on my computer and my server's after enabling file sharing. Seeing as all the other ports operate in stealth mode I did not deem it necessary to mention the other ports (especially not 139). I assumed that his port 80 should be open but it is stealthed otherwise he would not pass the Shields Up!! test.

Are you now able to take my posts seriously? Or should I justify myself a bit more? :rolleyes:

I'm intrigued - tell us about this "stealth mode". Is this some new protocol? Or are you talking about knocking?

But let's not make this personal, I am not in a mood for it. If you guys believe I don't know about networking, so be it. I'm not in the mood to justify myself.

This topic has been settled, agreed? I wish to end this since it's only turning into a badmouthing thread.
