Microsoft Office 2007 Basic

Hi Guys

I have just one question for you guys...

Is Microsoft Office 2007 Basic legal for a business computer... My mind tells me this is not the case.... I think the Standard version is legal but I am not sure which is why I am kindly asking for your help.

AFAIK you can't use Home and Student for commercial use whilst you can use every other version, including Basic, for commercial use.

I'm interested to know what gave you that perception or was it confusion with the home & student version?

A lot of people get sold the "Student & Home" as Basic.

As far as what I can see is the Office Basic is currently only available as DSP licence. Be careful on not purchasing the media less one. On PCMall the media less one is more expensive and you still need to order your discs from M$.
