Microsoft patches 34 security holes

Microsoft issued a record number of security patches for its software Tuesday as part of its regular monthly update.

Just got them installed thanks to WSUS. Process went smoothly on Vista, but my colleague's XP machine blue screened in the middle of installing the updates. Poor chap is now re-installing Windows.

and people wonder why we need uncapped internet

a week ago the Vista SP2 pushed via auto-update (this is usually turned off, but for some strange reason went back on again and I didn't switch it on) has put my machine into perpetual "re-booting for changes to take effect" ... I can't log in, it always reboots first. Can't get past this - I'm going to have to re-install too.

at home yes... six PCs.

at the office on a 20 Gb package with Afrihost.... 11 PCs.

I will/would do it via AutoPatcher... but I doubt they have linked to all these new updates already.
