Microsoft weaving social networking tools into Office 2010

Microsoft is weaving popular social networking services into its latest generation Outlook email program, to be released with an Office 2010 set of applications later this year.

I thought the idea of Office was to be PRODUCTIVE. Not social network... that's like saying SAB will bring out 1% alcoholic milk for babies to help them get through the day...

Lol @ Acid. I have downloaded the Beta or technical preview version of Microsoft 2010, and not much has changed.

Companies will just have to disable the "feature" in any case. Why not rather ship it, or make it available as a plugin for Outlook?
