Microsoft reports hackings linked to Google report

That's the problem if your security model is based on obfuscation rather than any properly thought out restriction policy; if someone manages to figure it out (or you release source code to the Chinese) you can become vulnerable.

All very well to blame Google (although I believe the fact that the researcher worked for Google was incidental), but a sloppy approach to security historically from Microsoft is where they should be looking if they want Windows to be more resistant to malware.
