Damn, I wish I was. In the meantime I'll get myself a top notch win8 tablet from an OEM like Lenovo or ASUS.

Must say, MS's target market is really boosting some astronomical figures and profits with Surface !

Yea, I watched the event live and I was amused to see all the MacBooks at the Microsoft event.

Does anyone know if these tablets will be marketed locally? Surface Pro 1 and 2 came and went and I did not see any of them at all.

Why are we not on the list? surely there is demand here?

Anyway I'd seriously consider getting one. It's a tablet that runs Win 8.1 with decent specs. IMO no more need for Android/Apple tablet, no more need for a laptop and no more need for a high spec smartphone which could save me money, especially with over 10 hours battery.
