Microsoft stops workers from buying Apple devices

Checked your links and as I pointed out there is not one that can confirm or deny the actual Agreements so again its speculation as the numbers differs from report to report. So as I pointed out the $100 000 000 number you posted is pure thumb suck.

How do you know if its in part of full cover? Do you have the actual numbers and agreement? You would think if they make so much money out of Android it would refelct on there income statements after all its not a small number that you can hide somewhere? See http://www.microsoft.com/investor/reports/ar11/financial_review/index.html

And why is the only 2 that do not sell Windows Phone devices (Barnes & Noble + Motorola) refusing to sign the deals? Is it not because they don't benefit from such a deal?

Untill we see actual agreements we can thumb suck what we like to make people believe whatever we want to.

I see your point Elimentals, but I would expect the income to be buried in Corporate-Level Activity somewhere, those financials do not have nearly enough detail to get anything meaningful and could also be in the off-balance sheet arrangements which I suppose is what you might be alluding to?

The point is that they have a realisable income stream, whether it be in direct cash or traded for something else - the reason we can't get an accurate view of this is it is tied up in NDAs probably so they can wangle the highest price out of the other players. My figure was not claimed to be exact, but based on the lower end of the speculated value. You don't agree, OK then. I just don't see how reputable news outlets can claim a net realisable income of $5-15 per Android unit would not have MS suing them if there was no basis for the claim. I don't have an issue with MS doing this, I am not bashing them if that is your worry - actually I think it is pretty clever.

You referring to the same reputable news outlets that reported on the iPhone 5 last year with its 4.3" screens. Reporting on rumors is not new and also not something you can take to the bank claiming it to be facts.
